For many the fall season is a fresh start. Many are heading into a new school year to further their education, to see their friends they haven't seen for a while and also to make new ones. Some are returning from their long vacations to resume their normal schedule. Perhaps some are moving on from their summer flings to another direction. It's a time where you feel rejuvenated again in a lot of ways. I find the fall season to be a great time of the year as there's plenty to be excited about.
Fall season is the start of the hockey season
That's right, hockey comes back from the summer break. A new NHL season with changes teams have made over the past few months that leaves their fans eagerly waiting to watch and root for. Sport bars get filled with broadcasts of the games and that means getting together with other hockey fans for lots of cheers and beers. You see the passion and the support for teams as jerseys comes out displaying vibrant colors that brings out all the puck bunnies. It's quality time you can spend with families and friends who also love hockey and a great opportunity to meet other people. Hockey fans everywhere get back together and gather around to enjoy the game of hockey.
Fall Weather & Clothing
The summer heat dies down to cooler weather with refreshing breezes. This is where it becomes comfortable to wear layers where you won't sweat and not just plain t-shirts. People can generally look their best during the fall. It's comfortable enough to wear combinations and layering of button-front shirts, cardigans, nice sweaters, denim jackets, wool jackets, leather jackets, blazers and more. You can start wearing your good pair of jeans or other nice pants with stylish sneakers, shoes, desert boots, leather boots, and oxfords. Scarves comes out, hats comes out. It's where women look their best with elegance and creativity and I'm not talking about sweatpants and uggs. Get out there to enjoy the weather in warmth and look good. It can give you something to strike up a conversation with some else.
Feel Comfortable Jogging and Walking
There won't be the hot humidity and heat when you're out jogging in the fall compared to the summer. Jogging in the fall feels more nice and you'll sweat a lot less without suffering from the heat. With the cool weather and leaves changing colors, it feels good to go out for walks in the environment whether it is by yourself, with your pet, a companion, or a significant other. It's a good time to meet other people if you're single.
Fall & Love?
They say fall season is ideal for finding love. That people will fall in love during this time of year. If you look at it, this is the time where people settle back into their normal lives, students go back to school, and the weather begins to gradually get colder so, people want to find someone to cuddle with for warmth. They know that in a few months, winter will be here and that is the holiday season where they want to spend time indoors with their love through the long cold season. It makes sense doesn't it?
I will say though, if you are in the mindset of finding love this fall as a single, then you'll likely set yourself up for disappointment. What I suggest is, enjoy what the fall season brings. There are many fall festivities to take part in like apple picking, nature walks, tasting the new fall beverages and treats, pumpkin carving following up with Halloween, and of course Thanksgiving. Change your mindset into going out and doing things that will bring happiness. Enjoy time with your families, your friends and enjoy taking the opportunities of meeting all kinds of people.

MBTI - INFJ Personality - The Protectors
ESTP - ESFP - ENFP - ENTP - ESTJ - ESFJ - ENFJ - ENTJ
ISTJ - ISFJ - INFJ - INTJ - ISTP - ISFP - INFP - INTP
Introverted - iNuition - Feeling - Judging
The INFJs supposedly only make up about 1-3% of the world's population making it one of the rarest of the 16 personalities. Those who are INFJs are seen as the protectors or the counselors. They are warm and gentle individuals who show a lot of interest and care for other people. Their desire to find deeper and hidden meanings leads them to a world of possibilities making them quite possibly the most artistic and creative type.
While growing up, INFJs can often get the feeling that they differ immensely with everyone else and that they get misunderstood a lot. The stronger their introversion and intuition are, the more they will isolate themselves if their ideas and observations are taken lightly or shown with little sympathy. They don't deal with conflict well and normally try and avoid it as quiet as possible.
They are generally seen as counselors since they tend to be older than they are, that they are more wiser than their peers and sometimes even adults while at a young age. INFJs who acknowledge their strong introverted intuition (Ni) early on will see themselves taking on roles of helping others out with their problems by advising them. They put a lot of trust in their judgments and insights when they see the benefits in their Ni thus, provide great abilities of insight and even foresight, appearing psychic-like.
Being highly perceptive, they can easily see through your bullshit, look beyond your masked appearance and see what your real and deeper intentions are.
They are perfectionists who seem to never be happy at where they are in life and always strive to improve themselves. INFJs are generally very private and keep thing secretive from most people with the exceptions of the very few that they are close to. In terms of how INFJs think, it tends to be more visually often with dreams that are vivid. They are fond of using metaphors.
Depression can come if they feel their artistic and creative nature is missing from them or are in conflict with their career or relationships. It can come from feeling so alone from too many misunderstandings.
INFJ Cognitive Functions
The Dominant function of INFJs is Introverted iNtuition, Ni. This is where INFJs take in all possible impressions of a particular matter to come a new interpretation that will allow them to see the big picture a whole new way. They also rely on past experiences to come to decisions.
Their Auxiliary function is Extroverted Feeling, Fe. For the INFJ, this is simply creating relationships with everyone for the greater good that conforms to the norm agreed upon by all. INFJs with strong Fe can understand the needs of others and connect with them well to communicate their ideas and judgements that is hard to argue against.
The Tertiary function is Introverted Thinking , Ti. INFJs will look to their Ti when they get overwhelmed with all the possible interpretations of a situation when making a judgement. To go internally and look for logical reasoning to find what is most important and appropriate to them.
INFJs' Inferior Function is Extroverted Sensing. Se. As an inferior function, INFJs lack the ability to acknowledge what the face value of something is. They always try and look for a deeper meaning even when it isn't necessary. Developing their Se can help provide more tangible information to help their intuition, simply as another resource.
*Notable INFJs include Mahatma Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, Nicole Kidman, Carey Mulligan, Mel Gibson.
How to Spot an INFJ
They normally seem kind of tense appearing to be uncomfortable out in public. How they are feeling can be easily read by their face. General topics of conversations will have them use lots of exasperated sighs. Topics they love turns them completely opposite of quiet. When talking they usually speak figuratively with deep meaning where no one else will understand and will probably think they're weird and slowly leave.

Why we get Ticklish and Laugh
Why do we get ticklish in the first place?
Looking at the human brain, it makes you alert of being touched and of other matter of senses from millions of nerve endings in your body. There are two regions of the brain that creates a tickling sensation, the somatosensory cortex and the anterior cingulated cortex. Something like a touch will stimulate the nerve endings and sends signals to the brain, which it gets analyzed by the somatosensory cortex on things like how much pressure was applied. The signals also goes to the anterior cingulated cortex which deals with pleasant feelings. These two combined will lead to a tickling sensation.
Why you can't tickle yourself
You generally can't tickle yourself in the same manner as when it's done by someone else. On the back of your brain you have the cerebellum which deals with controlling movement. This part of the brain is able to predict that you're trying to tickle yourself where it will alert the rest of your brain that the action is taking place. This will largely mitigate the effect of the tickling sensation thus, you won't be able to tickle yourself.
Some areas of the body are more ticklish than others which is due to them having more nerve receptors that are highly sensitive. This is especially evident in the soles of out feet. It can be noted that the areas that are ticklish are areas where it is uncommon to be touched by people.
Why do we laugh when tickled?
A simple touch by someone else on one of the many ticklish areas can cause you to giggle or laugh. Even when you have a sense that a finger is making its way to those areas you will have a smile on your face. Why is that so? Majority of the areas that are ticklish are areas where they are the most vulnerable to injury. It seems strange that you laugh when you are tickled doesn't it? This brings to a point that tickling is a creation of socialization.
It may not be completely known as to why we laugh when tickled but, it is a way to show that you submit to an aggressor who's tickling you. The responses evoked by being tickled comes from humans growing and living in an acceptable social manner. This comes in the form of learning and teaching oneself to protect the vulnerable areas of the body. When you feel someone is about to put their finger to the side of your body, as a defense mechanism you draw your arm in to shield that area. (source:Clark)
The involuntary laughter from tickling is a way of not being harmful to the tickler, the aggressor, in a playful manner. That is, until the tickler goes too far with the unwanted tickling, is where negative reaction can occur. Tickling can stimulate nerve fibers that causes pain so, over tickling or tickling too hard can be painful. (source:nye) Playful tickling can be a great fun way for individuals to interact, from parents bonding with their children, from friends that is likely to be more in a torturous manner as well as with lovers but, will likely lead to something else.
A little unwanted tickling is fine with me, it's all fun and games. If you decide to proceed further with it though, just take note that my arms, elbows and legs will be flailing around frantically out of control laughing hysterically. It's not always safe for all you ticklers.
